Henry and colleagues evaluated frailty in patients undergoing cardiac surgery using two frailty indices, the simplified Study of Osteoporotic Fractures (SOF) and the complex Cardiovascular Health Study (CHS), comparing postsurgical outcomes between frail and nonfrail patients.
