Robotic resection of pulmonary hydatid cysts is feasible with appropriate preoperative planning and active involvement of multidisciplinary teams, including infectious disease, pulmonology, and anesthesiology. Localization of the bronchopleural fistula, followed by closure and layered capitonnage, help obliterate the dead space after unroofing of the cyst.
