This study explores the use of Hybrid Stage 1 Palliation (HS1P) in patients with congenital heart disease (CHD), particularly in those with single ventricle (SV) and biventricular (BiV) conditions. This technique is indicated for repairing any type of secundum atrial septal defects, which are not often considered amenable to transcatheter closure and are referred for surgery.
